What clients say about the cupping here
“Collings was able to administer extremely effective relief (lower back pain) and after my first treatment I was on an acupuncture high for the rest of the day.”
“She goes above and beyond for her patients, providing not only expert acupuncture care but also genuine compassion and commitment to pain relief.”
From the reviews
I started going to Dr Collins 4 weeks ago to relieve the swelling, fluid retention, and severe pain in my knees from recent scope surgery. Prior to acupuncture I had tried physical therapy but had no relief. I was so frustrated and hurting so much!
Dr. Collin’s is truly exceptional! She goes above and beyond for her patients, providing not only expert acupuncture care but also genuine compassion and commitment to pain relief.
I’ve had acupuncture over many years by different Doctors of Chinese medicine with varying degrees of relief. It is definitely an art and each person has a different outcome depending on their specific issue. Dr.
I've been seeing Dr.Collings for almost a year now. The wonders she has worked for my anxiety, my skin, and my over all health is amazing! I had mentioned I don't sleep well. I toss, I turn, I'm up randomly through the night as well. She recommended some herbs she had for that, and they've been the best by far. Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
