What clients say about the cupping here
“Jaime was extremely thorough and passionate when it came to helping me, and especially very willing to answer all my questions.”
From the reviews
I’ve been going to Ashi Massage and Cupping Clinic every 3 weeks after a running injury, and it has helped tremendously. As someone who is on my feet all day for work and still wants to stay active and do all the things, my body was extremely tight.
Had a 75 minute session with cupping with Morgan, was great! Will be going back!
When you get an Ashi massage from Jaime you can expect to feel completely different than during after any other massage you've received. You can also reasonably anticipate thinking about Jaime everytime you're in Asbury, thinking about her when driving by her place of business, wondering WHEN the next time you can…
Dubuque is lucky to have this service for the community. 5 stars. Try it out - you'll be glad you did!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
