What clients say about the cupping here
“I started seeing Andrea at Apple Core Therapy back in 2019 when I was suffering from chronic back pain due to sciatica.”
“I always feel better after a session and truly appreciate the care and expert skill she brings to her practice.”
“I leave every Myofacial release appointment feeling more relaxed, with noticeably less tension and increased mobility.”
“But it’s more than a massage, I feel like she is working on my body and my nervous system, healing it and repairing it overtime.”
From the reviews
I’d seen 5 LMT’s over a period of 15 years before seeing Andrea, and she is the only one who was able to pinpoint and treat my persistent issues (mostly resulting from sitting in front of a computer all day) with myofascial release therapy. 10 out 10 recommend!
Of all the different body practitioners I’ve been to, Andrea is by far the most gifted and intuitive, and she instinctively knows what my body needs on any given visit. I trust her implicitly. I go in knowing that I’m in good hands and that she’ll facilitate the healing process with exactly what is needed on that day.
Andrea Spencer is a master at her craft. I have been to many massage therapists over the years and will never see anyone else but her. She is intuitive and she is a healer.
Andrea is truly special. She’s not your average massage therapist—her work goes far beyond relaxation. Andrea is incredibly in tune with the body and approaches each session with the intention to heal. Don’t come expecting typical long, flowing, oil-heavy strokes.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
