I just got a massage from Shu and it was great! From the very beginning when she had me take a few deep breathes to soothing back strokes at the end, the session was a great blend of breathe work, deep tissue, relaxation, and socialization. She was very attentive and her voice was so soothing.

It is always an exciting and fulfilling experience using services at Anoka massage and pain therapy. My family have been visiting the center since 2021 when my daughter had Bell's palsy. She received acupuncture care at this facility it was very helpful and integral to her recovery.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
