11/10 Experience! I booked a couples massage for my boyfriend & I for his bday. This was our first experience, and it was AMAZING! The staff was super friendly, and answered all of our questions to make us feel comfortable. The energy and environment was very welcoming as well!
I tried Anodyne for the first time yesterday, and I was thoroughly pleased with the service. First, I thought it was cute that they put your name on a card and leave a piece of candy on the table. (Also, the tables are heated!).
I had an amazing experience — the massage with Desiree was absolutely incredible! She has a true gift for finding and releasing tension, and I left feeling so relaxed and refreshed. The pressure was perfect, and she made sure I was comfortable the entire time.
I’ve been going to Anodyne Spa almost monthly for over a year and love it!! When I started they were in a different location but have since moved to their current location which is beautiful ! I love the relaxed feel as soon as you step in walk in the door. Plus the people are all very friendly. Highly recommend
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
