Andover Physical Therapy is a main part of life in our family. The staff is so genuinely friendly and cheerful. I have seen Amy Schmeling for years and trust her implicitly with my massage care. I have now brought my teen daughters as well so she can care for them in their athletic recovery.
I injured my low back about 10 years ago. I have tried several different therapies including, physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, steroid injections and even had surgery after all else failed. I had resolved that I would suffer with some level of pain, every day for the rest of my life.
I was looking for a physical therapist for my infant to treat his torticollis. I am so thankful for everything they did for him. It's a great location with an amazing staff, super professional and has all the equipment that we needed. I recommend them 100%.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
