From the reviews
True Healer – Angie Schuba Has Changed My Life I cannot recommend Angie Schuba highly enough. As my acupuncturist, she has provided not only exceptional care but genuine healing during one of the most frightening times in my life.
I had acute neck pain that even my chiropractor couldn't fix and so I decided to try acupuncture for the very first time. I was really surprised that the first thing we did wasn't needles, but some stretches and exercises to activate my muscles in my shoulder and neck.
I moved from Tucson during Covid and threw my back out. Having not established a back doctor here I tried acupuncture in desperation for relief. To my surprise it worked better than a steroid injection. And I was back on my feet sooner than I would have with steroids. I’m so thankful for Dr Schuba.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
