From the reviews
Amy has helped me with everything from pain, menopause and overall health. Highly recommend Amy and accupuncture.
Had a bad bicycle accident and Dr Emily had me work with Amy Yehoshua, the Acupuncturist at Sage. It was like a miracle worker got to work on my body and healing. After just 3 sessions I was amazed at the progress I had toward healing. I would highly recommend!
I am so grateful to have found Amy! She is the best at her craft and is so knowledgeable about a variety of practices. I feel she genuinely cares about how I am feeling and listens to my concerns. I cannot sing her praises enough!
Amy is awesome! Look, I've never had acupuncture. Not only did Amy help me with my original concerns, but she also helped me discover other problems that I didn't even know about! 10/10 will be recommending to everyone I know!!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
