From the reviews

I had my first bodywork session at Amaya this weekend with Dan, and it was just what I needed. The massage was incredibly relaxing, and I experienced a significant state change from stressed and shut down to relaxed and open. Dan shared helpful insights, and I really enjoyed the session.

I had such an amazing experience! Larissa is an amazing masseuse. We had a great conversation during the entire massage. I was well taken care of, Larissa even brought me water to drink while I was soaking afterward. So relaxing, so attentive, I was on cloud 9. Thanks again Larissa, can’t wait to return!

I received a massage from Kim at Amaya and she was absolutely fabulous! The best massage experience I have ever had. Have been here multiple times and it’s always a lovely experience. Will be booking with Kim again and could not recommend more highly!

Massage was great! Loved that I left with some recommendations on what to focus on to avoid being so tight in the same muscle groups again. The other amenities were busy and a bit crowded so I skipped on those, unfortunately

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
