From the reviews
Danisha is a practitioner that listens and leads her practice with great compassion. She spends quality time listening to the symptoms that brought you in, educates you, & addresses your concerns before your treatment..
Hello- I wanted to reach out to everyone & give my experience with Altitude Acupuncture. I'm going to say approximately a couple of months ago I started treatment for a very very high pain level from my right elbow. Burning down my elbow. (Found out from my doctor - Golf elbow) Could not sleep, for months.
I came to Altitude Acupuncture after I hurt my back a couple months ago. Danisha was one of the kindest people I've met and she was incredibly helpful! I went in for approximately 8-10 sessions and came out of the process feeling like my normal self.
Danisha is a master of her craft! Very passionate about what she does and it shows in every visit. She's always able to fine tune and calm the inflammation in my back when it starts to give me issues (bulgding disk). I highly recommend her cupping therapy, it feels awesome!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
