From the reviews

I came to see Caesar for my back problem because I was getting pain in my lower back for a while after sitting the whole day at the computer. He looked at my work setup and focused a lot on my posture, even recommended a special cushion to keep my spine straight.

★★★★★ — Pavel, Mar 2024

I had a wonderful experience at Alte View. Both Natalia and Ceasar were a pleasure to work with. I was looking for some alternative approaches to treat a very stubborn frozen shoulder. In addition to PT Ceasar treated me with accupuncture, cupping and other modalities.

★★★★★ — Caryn, Oct 2023

I came to Alte View to get help with my hand and shoulder pain. I worked with a Physical Therapist prior but it was not very helpful. Ceasar evaluated me after only one session with him I felt like a new person! At the end of our first session, I was able to move my hand without any pain.

★★★★★ — Mira, Apr 2021

Cesar was very professional and caring. He anticipated problems and recommended a specialist. He shared his knowledge and explained the benefits of every exercise. He was careful not to overdo anything (i am 77) but pushed to maximize the effort.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
