From the reviews
“I had a wonderful experience with Rachel! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. She took time to explain the process and answered all my questions, which made me feel comfortable. After my session, I noticed a substantial improvement. Rachel has such a calming energy.
Monday I felt very bad (Nauseas, aching, dizziness, migraine, etc) I had my FIRST EVER acupuncture session. She was so reassuring and attentive, explaining every process and meaning behind each treatment. After my session I had felt 20x better as the evening came, and 100% better the next day.
As someone new to acupuncture, I could not be more pleased. I reached out & was able to get in the same day. Rachel was fantastic explaining how the body works & how acupuncture can help heal it. She gave me some tips & tricks to help at home. They accept my insurance, which is a bonus! I can’t wait to see results!
If you are at all considering acupuncture, I highly recommend going to Rachel! She is super knowledgeable and gives 100% care and attention at every visit. My headaches and other ailments have drastically diminished since seeing her.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
