From the reviews

I have been to GuruBani's lovely massage therapy suite in Burlington 3 times in the last few months and she successfully treated my acid reflux problem with a diaphragm massage, my back pain due to back spasms with massage on my back and my jaw pain with massage to my jaw, She also gave me some medicinal tips to help…

★★★★★ — Marjorie, Jan 2019

GuruBani is a sensitive healer. She has helped me tremendously over the years with balance in my life’s work— taking care to support me with my body, offering guidance on the nutrients I need for deep wellness and innermost strength!

★★★★★ — Ajeet, Sep 2023

Gurubani has been incredibly instrumental in my wellness journey. Just over a year ago I was referred to Gurubani for lymph drainage. As we began to work on my lymph, it became clear that she has a wealth of experience and knowledge to help me in multiple areas of care. Gurubani is incredibly intuitive and gifted.

★★★★★ — Heather, Sep 2023

Caring, compassionate, intuitive. Wise and professional are just a few of the words that come to mind for this review. Alchemy Wellness is the answer to my wellness prayers. It is like Gurubani has a roadmap to my body and knows just how to help me heal.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
