“I have a lot of chronic issues and he is wonderful about tailoring the massage to address and work on those problem areas as well as providing a relaxing atmosphere.”
“He is always teaching me new techniques to improve posture, increase range of motion and maintain the progress we have made after each session.”

From the reviews
Volker is an exceptional massage therapist. I had a two hour full body myofascial release/release. My whole body feels more limber, relaxed, and the pain in my neck, knee, and hips are sooooo much better. I will definitely be booking another two hour massage soon.
I was planing a vacation to Alaska, and scheduled a massage at Alaska Wellness factor using recommendations and a gift certificate from my Alaskan family. They advised me of this place because it is privately owned, and the owner is an educated skillful massage therapist with decades of experience.
I was extremely sad to learn that the Ice Spa at the Sheraton hotel had closed down after CV—19. For years, I have seen Volker for my massages. I was extremely happy to learn that he has opened his own business and still provides exact same service that he’s provided for so many years.
Volker is an amazing massage therapist. I've been searching for someone to help me with my mobility and posture, and after just 2 sessions I'm already more limber. My upper back, neck, shoulder have always been a problem for me and they now feel more relaxed than they've ever been.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
