From the reviews
I am not a fan of needles and I had never wanted to try acupuncture… yet the pain from my car accident just wasn’t touched by chiropractics, or physical therapy and constant medications is never the answer and so I had to try. Bridgette took her time to learn what was going on with me.
I've never had acupuncture before. A friend got me a gift certificate and I decided to use it yesterday. Bridgette answered all of my questions and had many of her own, which she explained would help her know where to place the needles she'd be using in my treatment. The space was very peaceful and I'm glad I went.
I had a health issue that I was told acupuncture may help, after researching many options, I decided to have Bridgette do my treatments. I am happy that I did, she was professional as well as caring, and many of my symptoms have subsided since treatment!
Bridgette is wonderful! She has a wealth of knowledge and skill. Her techniques are effective and very helpful. Highly recommend!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
