Really neat atmosphere, feels almost like a spa, not PT. I got wonderful treatment during my first appointment and the people are fantastic. I look forward to my future visits!
Everyone is super friendly and it nurtures a healthy healing environment! Coffee with Carrie really allows you to foster relationships with people and just have a great time! Sarah is amazing with therapy and allows you to babble on while you are working, making you feel like it's okay to visit.
The best therapy team around or that I have ever had. Truly kind and caring people and I always have felt seen and heard by them. They helped me get back into running after a big injury and helped me recover postpartum after a c-section. They did amazing work! Thank you Agape!
Great facility for athletes! Also great classes that vary for a variety of abilities and skill levels.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
