From the reviews

I had a wonderful experience at Advanced Rehab. The staff was extremely helpful and worked with me to get my therapy schedule to work smoothly with my personal schedule. They were also extremely informative about the how insurance worked, especially Monique, and kept me in the loop at every step of the process.

I’ve been very pleased with my therapy at Advanced Rehab. It began right away when I had to be evaluated and set up therapy sessions. I was treated in a very friendly and professional way. Scott explained exactly what I needed and how we were going to do it. I was given exercises to do at home, which I appreciated.

Great place. Full of all kinds of gadgets and machines!! Staff is friendly and very "up" about helping customers. I went there after both hip replacement surgeries and they had me off the walker in a week and off the cane in another week.

★★★★★ — Andrew, Jan 2021

I had an amazing experience. I am a music student at the local college and went in with wrist pain. The staff up front at the desk was very welcoming and helpful. I worked with 2 of the physical therapist. They were both very professional and personable. They listen to what you need and are very knowledgeable.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
