From the reviews
After surgery on my knee, I was unable to walk without a brace and unable to bend my knee. Three months later, I am without the brace, have full extension of my knee and am walking almost normally, which will improve with strength. I am so very happy with my results. Jordan is a great therapist.
I love this place! This is my second knee replacement but my first time at Advanced. The staff there are so kind, understanding, and willing to educate you on how to work within the current limits you have while building you up to the next level. They are amazing.
I worked with almost every therapist after my hip replacement. I was pleased with the compassionate care and the encouraging therapy I received. They worked me just hard enough, always checked on my progress and how I felt, and made sure I understood everything they were doing.
The therapy that I've received is excellent. You get top notch care from great people. I have been to other places in the the past and Advanced Rehab & Sports is by far superior to the competition. I also love how organized the are from appointment set up and reminders via text.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
