From the reviews

I've only had one visit with Amy and I'm already feeling much better! I feel like I have a new right shoulder and neck! My lower back even feels better. I'm looking forward to my next appointment. If you're a Soldier or athlete and have aches and pains, I highly recommend seeing Amy.

Amy is a miracle worker! My daughter, who's a state and national champion track athlete had problems with her hamstrings and hip flexors this season which affected her 400m times. After 1 visit, her time decreased by over 2 seconds. Her full range of motion was back and she hit the track with a vengeance.

★★★★★ — Tasha, Mar 2015

I met with Amy after a posterior stress fracture on the left leg. Continued to work with her long after my leg was back to normal. If recovery is the equivalent of a deposit to your body’s health bank, then Amy is the teller you know will get you what you need and what you didn’t realize you needed.

This girl knows what she is doing. And it is wonderful to be able to see the chiropractor, Dr. Jim, after I have my massage. Will keep going to have a massage with Amy.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
