This place miraculous!! I am so grateful and happy that have found this clinic. I’ve been in so much pain and illness with my digestive issues since moving to the United States in 2019.
I have been suffering Parosmia for over a month now. I came across acupuncture as a treatment and came across Advanced Holistic Center. The first person I met was Alexis Kantor, and I have remained with her for my treatments.
This is my first experience with acupuncture and other related holistic treatments (cupping, aromatherapy, etc) and I cannot recommend AHC more. Everyone is incredibly kind and helpful.
AHC has been life changing! I’ve been going in for acupuncture regularly - Rimma and Bianca are both fantastic. They are attuned, compassionate, super supportive and so insightful. They always meet me where I’m at and know exactly how to support my specific needs.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
