From the reviews
Dr. Nick is the MAN!!!! He did cupping on my muscles and then adjusted my spine. Feeling great for my golf weekend trip!!
Dr. J got me together! I had some pain come back from an old injury and tried out Adjusted Health & Performance. Just walking in the door invited me! But the way Dr.
I work in a field where I’m constantly on the go and sometimes end up with injuries from working with highly aggressive clients. Dr. J’s office has become my go-to place for care, it’s truly the one stop that keeps me going so I can get back to caring for my own patients.
I had my first appointment at Adjusted Health + Performance and had a great experience. It was very welcoming. Dr. Rodriguez was caring, friendly, professional, and took the time to listen to my concerns and explain everything clearly.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
