From the reviews
I have been seeing Holly now for a couple of years on and off. This time around it is for injuries lingering from getting hit by a car. Holly really listens well and understands her patient’s needs. She addresses those concerns and also dives deeper into the issues covering all the bases.
I have been going to Holly for 2+ years now. I started as I needed help with planter fasciitis and Achilles issues due to running marathons. Since then I have become an Amateur Ultra Marathon runner in the USA and Europe. I attribute my ability to do these long races due to maintenance work with Holly over the years.
I have been referring to Holly and AcuSports Therapy for many years. Her healing is incredible! Every person who I have sent to her has found great relief and healing and has loved working with Holly. She is kind, caring, professional and a GREAT healer!
Holly has been a life saver for me! I am a runner and tri athlete whose life really would not be the same if I could not participate in these activities and the community that means the world to me.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
