From the reviews

Yue Ling is friendly, professional, helpful, and treats the whole person. She discusses nutrition and lifestyle while she is sticking needles in :D I went primarily for plantar fasciitis, but she helped not only with that, but with tension and pain issues all over, including TMJ/jaw clenching which I had had since…

I had lost almost all the use of one arm before I came here. It took a while, but I regained full range of motion and most of my strength without the need for surgery.

Dr. Li is amazing! I have had only four sessions with her and I already feel better. My case is very complicated and she is committed to working with me to solve the riddle and get me on a path to healing. If you are on the fence about acupuncture, jump on off and visit Dr. Li! You will not be disappointed.

Both my husband and I have had pain relief from Dr. Ali. I am grateful we found her. I use no drugs, nsaids of any kind. When I went to my doctors, they just wanted to prescribe pills and cortisone shots for my pain. I am so happy I don’t use any! She has been a lifesaver fir me.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
