I started fertility acupuncture to prepare my body before IVF and began treatments about 9 weeks before my egg retrieval. Dr. Shiva Rouhani is incredibly knowledgeable about fertility and each session felt thoughtful, calming, and supportive. I truly wish I had added acupuncture to my fertility journey sooner.
The staff is so welcoming. When I walk onto the office I instantly am at ease and relaxed. Dr Rouhani is amazing and has excellent bedside manner. I feel great after every visit. If you have been thinking about getting acupunture this is the place for you, everything is so clean and sanitary.
The dr has angel hands, she performs magic. I have been utilizing acupuncture since 2007 and began treatment for the first time in 2022 with Dr Shiva. Dr Shiva uses other techniques that I have never experienced therefore your chances of relief increase.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
