What clients say about the cupping here
“Ali Hakimi is also a highly attuned clinician who is working on my muscle pain and dysfunction deep within my hips and fascia muscles with dry needling and cupping.”
“I worked with Ali - very professional, and very experienced with complicated sports-related things, as opposed to other places that provide more of a spa experience.”
“Throughout our sessions, he would patiently explain the various points he was working on or the sensations I was experiencing, shedding light on what was going on internally within my body.”
“The office itself is clean, professional & peaceful, and in addition to addressing my runners knee, I also came away from every session feeling so relaxed and rejuvenated.”
“After receiving multiple recommendations about Acupuncture for Athletics, I decided to try acupuncture for the first time to help my tennis / golfers elbow that was hurting for a year.”

From the reviews
This team and their focus are the best, especially if you are an athlete or just an active person focused on wellness. I have done a lot of acupuncture and complementary medicine, as I work in the health tech industry and focus on longevity.
Andrew helped bring me back to 100% after a somewhat traumatic birth experience. The intuitive way he’s able to know exactly where your muscles are tight and what combination of therapy to combine (acupuncture, red light, cupping, massage,) was such a huge help. I credit my healing in large part to him!
I was introduced to Andrew by a friend who dubbed him as nothing short of magical. After experiencing his expertise firsthand, I couldn't agree more. Andrew's mastery of the human body and its intricacies truly feels like a kind of magic.
tl;dr: I am a runner and Ali solved a chronic series of calf knots in only 3 sessions because of his excellence in acupuncture. Last spring, I got a calf injury when a series of stubborn knots cropped up on my leg.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
