From the reviews
The whole team is very friendly. They try to help me with my unbearable pain. My therapist massages my pain, adding the stimulation and cupping as part of the therapy. Dr. Wong is great with acupuncture which I hope to continue with my PT.
Dr. Wong is the BEST! I highly recommend ACUPHYSIO Physical Therapy for all of your Physical Therapy Needs! The Staff is AWESOME and provide personal upfront care and are always available to answer any questions. Dr. Wong treats Crystals in the Ear with hands on treatment.
I have sciatica and standard treatments weren't working and my doctor said my only option left was surgery. I preferred to avoid surgery so I tried acupuncture at Acuphysio with Dr. Wong. Im happy to report that I have seen significant improvement in my condition since starting acupuncture with him.
I had pain in my shoulder for over 3 months, the doctor suggested steroid injections but I decided to try acupuncture instead. Dr Wong was highly recommended to me by a few neighbors and I was not disappointed! After the first session I felt so much better!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
