From the reviews
Love the office and staff. Every time I am in pain they always fit me in. I have been to many physical therapy places but I must say this only therapy place that has worked for me. I would highly recommend this place.
Today I had my evaluation with the physical therapist, Vinny. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted immidietley by the lovely ladies in the front, Shirley and Mary. Vinny was able to quickly recognize the source of my pain and put together a perfect game plan as to strengthen and build my core and hip muscles.
Sean as well as Dr. Snowball have been very helpful improving my back so that today I have little hip and low back pain, while before I could barely rise from a chair without using my hands or pausing for the pain to subside.
The facility at 85 Old Long Ridge Rd., Stamford, Ct. is clean, bright & airy - a pleasant place to be. The staff very pleasant & helpful. Physical therapist Vincent Parrillo is very professional & knowledgeable & I couldn't believe the progress he made possible for me.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
