What clients say about the cupping here
“Kristina is one of the best massage therapists I've ever had (and I have had a LOT in my years, by very experienced therapists).”
“She really took the time to listen to exactly what I needed and asked thoughtful questions about the specific tension and pain I’ve been dealing with as a musician.”
“I had my first cupping experience with Kristina as a supplement to my deep tissue massage, and found it very beneficial in soothing my neck/back tension.”
“She does have different types of membership available (pretty good value and you can pay with HSA card) but she never tried to sell me anything in office, always very gentle and friendly chats.”
“Parking at her location was super easy, the location is peaceful, and the ambiance in her studio was very welcoming, calming and relaxing.”
From the reviews
Kristina is an incredibly talented and experienced massage therapist! She truly tailors the session based on your needs, and is very in tune to areas that need more time and attention. She has the gift of being able to find all your knots and helps to melt them away!
I has an excellent experience in my most recent massage and cupping session with Kristina! She was very thorough prior to the appointment to ensure my expectations were aligned with the therapies. This was my first time having cupping done and she explained everything to me in advance.
I LOVE Kristina and her massage, it is heavenly! I have had neck and shoulder pain for months because of all the hours working on computers. I have seen orthopedist and physical therapists but not seeing much improvement. I just had 3 sessions with Kristina and feeling a lot better!
I had the most relaxing massage and cupping session EVER at Abundant Health! The owner, Kristina, tailored my entire massage and cupping experience exactly the way I wanted it done in terms of the amount of pressure and suction I wanted during the massage and cupping session.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
