🧑‍⚕️ skilled, knowledgeable practitioner 5 mentions

“He’s knowledgeable, has a great bedside manner, and really takes his time to listen and understand in order to treat the root of the issue.”

From the reviews

Dr. Coopersmith is an exemplary chiropractor. He has treated both me and my son for back injuries/pain. In addition to what one would expect from "typical chiropractic treatment", he does many other modalities to treat and speed up the recovery process. Acupuncture, cupping, stretching exercises to name a few.

My family has a history of degenerative disc disease and I assumed that to be my fate. Once symptoms started showing, I began steroids and painkillers and slowed down on exercise just as family members had. I was miserable, depressed and gaining weight.

★★★★★ — Christina, Jul 2020

Dr. Aaron Coopersmith is the best chiropractor I have ever been to. He takes his time and cares about each of his patients. I never feel like he is rushing, but making sure to take the time he needs adjust me and help me get my body as optimal as possible.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
