From the reviews

I've had massages from both Katie and Alyssa, they were both fantastic! 10/10 would book here again. (In fact, I did, and I will continue to do so!) First time I've ever had someone perform "cupping" on me. It works SO INCREDIBLY WELL! No pain, interesting hickeys, and amazing relief! 100% recommend!

Katie Ochoa is a fantastic massage therapist. I have had many massages over the years and her technique is very effective. She attends seminars and classes to enhance her skills. She has an awesome cupping machine which I had never experienced. Her office is very nice and relaxing.

Every massage therapist here is a one of a kind with so much passion for their work, it shows deeply. I’ve worked with them all and depending on my body I can flow between them to meet all my therapeutic needs. The front desk is charming and so helpful. The clinic is clean and well put together.

Katie is helping me with post surgical knee issues. Her massage techniques and experience in this area are helping to improve my mobility. My 90 minute full body massage was one of the best I’ve had. I highly recommend “A Much Kneaded Massage”!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
