From the reviews

Karen is exceptional. I’ve seen, to no exaggeration, easily over 70 massage therapists in my 10 years of living with chronic pain, and Karen is among the best, if not the best.

★★★★★ — Jimmy, Apr 2025

As someone who travels frequently and makes it a point to receive regular massages wherever I go, I’ve experienced a wide range of techniques and therapists. For me, massage is an essential part of maintaining my overall well-being—more about prevention and balance than treating pain or issues.

★★★★★ — Sophie, May 2025

I am so happy that I found Karen. Like another review said , “if you’ve found Karen then you are lucky!” I have always dealt with pinched nerves in my upper back/neck, which has been the cause of my migraines, and truly feel like I have found the only person who has helped me.

★★★★★ — Kirsten, Aug 2023

Karen is absolutely incredible. From the moment the session started, I could tell how knowledgeable and intuitive she is. I came in struggling with shoulder pain, and she immediately knew exactly what to do.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
