You're in good hands with Maressica. What ever style massage you like/need, she can provide. I enjoy the Swedish myself best, very relaxing. But she can do targeted therapeutic massage for trouble areas very well. Chair massage can be available as well. She also does cupping and aromatherapy.
Maressica is an amazing massage therapist that is very intentional about making sure her clients are treated in the best ways possible. I’ve had the chance to work with Maressica through her journey as a student to now, opening up her own practice.
I’ve been seeing Maressica for massage for about a year now!! When I say she has magic hands I mean it! From headaches, back aches, pregnancy pains, or overall just feel good massages she’s got me covered! 10/10 recommend!!!!
I've been going to Maressica for a year and a half now and I always feel satisfied when leaving. She's easy to talk to, and you can tell she really cares about what she does and how you are feeling. Shes the best!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
