From the reviews

Adam is an incredible PT. If you’ve ever been to “prescribed PT” and hated it-this is the opposite experience in every way. He is like Sherlock Holmes for the body. Unlike other PT visits, Adam looks at your entire body and how all the pieces fit together.

★★★★★ — Josephine, Nov 2022

Adam is an incredible physical therapist! I had to go to the emergency room for a torn tendon which caused a tremendous amount of pain and I was very worried. When I learned I was going to need PT, I immediately contacted him because I had heard such great things from a friend who used him as well.

★★★★★ — Rachel, Oct 2020

Cannot praise Adam enough…he is a very talented and knowledgeable physical therapist. I started working with Adam when significant pain returned to my right shoulder (which had already been surgically repaired). Adam assessed the shoulder and developed a plan of attack.

★★★★★ — David, Aug 2021

Adam Braun is a wonderful Physical Therapist. He has a calm and gentle manner and is a great listener. Adam would start each session checking in on how I was feeling and would then tailor the session in response to the information I provided.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
