Had the best massage experience here. Amanda gave an amazing massage and was extremely professional & pleasant! I really liked how the intake form asks for personal preferences on almost everything, especially conversation preference as I am not a very talkative person and prefer it quiet during my massage.
Wonderful massage every single time and super easy scheduling through their system. I always feel like I get my money's worth here! No upcharge for aromatherapy, and their pre-massage questions are thoughtful of what you may need. I love that there is no pressure to buy packages or products at all.
This is the 3rd time that I have been to ZOË massage at Carmel for a prenatal and I really enjoy it. I had another massage therapist who I thought did okay but I really enjoy Janice. She does such a wonderful job on pressure points. I really like firm pressure and she gives me exactly what I am seeking.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
