From the reviews

I am on my 4th acupuncture with cupping session at the frequency of one a week. The positive impact has been profound and therefore priceless. I went in feeling low emotionally, low energy, acute left side pain in the back that I had tried to get rid of with massages totally 900 in massages only to still be in pain.

★★★★★ — Stephanie, Feb 2026

Highly recommended! Despite being booked for the day, the Doc and staff were able to squeeze me in for some cupping and Gua Sha. Despite my usual westernized approach to medicine and physical therapy, this was a refreshing and extremely helpful session.

1st visit there. I could feel the difference even before the treatment (cupping for shoulder and liver) was completed. I was unsure how it would be, but indeed it was done professionally and now to see how it holds up to a busy week and travel ahead.

Dr Jen is amazing. I had a first time new patient appointment with her this week, she was extremely welcoming and pleasant. My back feels so much better after having cupping done. I look forward to future appointments with her.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
