Carmen is great with her technical knowledge and technique! She’s got a unique myofascial release method with micro movements on the muscles, different from any other massage therapist I’ve had. She’s also great with nutritional applications to pain management.

I was referred here, to Carmen for a medical massage. It has helped decrease chronic back pain . She is professional and punctual. She finds the muscle groups that are tight and out of place and works adjacent areas also with goal of targeting underlying causes of the pain.
This is hands down the best massage therapist I’ve ever had! I’m a 51yr old disabled combat vet and former athlete with multiple injuries with one being severe back pains. Before massage therapy I tried almost everything the VA recommended and was contemplating surgery as the last option.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
