I have been here a few times and everyone is lovely, welcoming and professional. Today however, I received a deep tissue massage from Timothy. He listened to my issues and instead of the standard deep tissue, tailored my session to what my body needed.
My experience at Zen Massage in LS was seamless and exceptional from start to finish. The Front Desk Receptionist, Kelly, exuded kindness and patience as I was speaking with her regarding what my needs/wants were to determine what type of massage to schedule.
My wife and I had a couples swedish massage with hot stones add-on here the other day. Booking was easy, the staff was friendly, and the therapist did a great job. The therapists made sure to ask for trouble areas, as well as how the pressure was.
Shane gave me the best massage of my life! Really got into those muscles! I will only see him! It was a fantastic 2 hour experience!! Very chill environment and the girl at the front desk- understood the assignment- I was for sure a hot mess after the massage and she spoke softly and was quick and to the point!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
