From the reviews

I had a great experience at Rejuvenate Wholistic Spa. The staff was very professional and customer service oriented. Kenyatta customize my visit for me. She definitely has a gift to know exactly what I needed without me specifically articulating my areas of concerns. I enjoy that personal touch that was provided.

Kenyatta is the best.... the facility is clean, she loves her craft and she specializes in custom tailoring packages that work for you. They also sale a lot of helpful items... detox tea, waist trainers, jewelry, sage sticks and varied items. I went for body contouring and the results are forthcoming...

I used a Groupon for 1 of 2 60 minute message with Gifted Hands (Denise). I was about 15 minutes early and she was finishing up with a client and let me know we would get started a little after my scheduled time, which I was completely fine with.

I love supporting my black businesses. The therapist know what they are doing. They are knowledgeable and professional. Great prices. The prices however do not reflect the service. They are absolutely amazing. There is a mini shop inside that sells sage and oils etc. I’ve had the massages and foot soaks. Well worth it.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
