Absolutely love Yan’s Massage Therapy! The place is clean, relaxing, and very professional. The therapist listens to your needs and adjusts the pressure perfectly. I tried the deep tissue massage, cupping therapy, and infrared light therapy — all of them worked wonderfully. I felt so much better afterward.
Just passing through Owensboro on a work trip and was feeling a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders. Was able to book here day-of and saw Cindy. Deep tissue massage with cupping! She ATTACKED those knots and the tightness and it was amazing!! Would definitely return if I find myself back in town!
Excellent deep tissue body massage. She focused on my back because I had so many knots. I got the cupping (we'll see if that helps). I also got infrared light which felt very relaxing while she continued to massage. I will be coming back to try their other services. A foot massage for sure and maybe my face.
I have been to Yan’s several times now and I always ask for Jenny because she does amazing work! What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
