From the reviews
Hello I like to share my experience at Xu Ri Acupuncture therapy care .I have many issues medically with pain and this acupuncture location is truly the best .At the front desk you are greeted very nicely. The staff are professional , it’s clean and very comfortable place for treatment .The doctor is the best .
I’ve been coming to this facility for 2 1/2 years. Weekly for a massage and twice (for several treatments each time) for acupuncture. David the massage therapist is amazing. Each session is a blend of acupressure and his amazing intuition and understanding of the human body working his magic.
I like very much this office and service. Place is clean and staff is friendly. never waisted time waiting. I feel like wooden before I first came here Now my back pain get better just after 2 visits. The best massage I get by David.I wish only my insurance will pay for treatment. Now I can afford only few visits.
Cannot recommend this place more! Chen is the best! I had Bell’s Palsy and within two acupuncture sessions, I started seeing movement in my face again. Within 6, I had my face back. She really cares and is happy to see you and hear how you’re doing every time you come in.
Booking hijama (wet cupping) at Xu Ri Acupuncture and Physical Therapy
Xu Ri Acupuncture and Physical Therapy comes up as a provider that offers hijama — wet cupping, where the skin is lightly punctured after suction so a small amount of blood is drawn. If you're booking hijama specifically, a few things are worth asking before you go. First, sterility is everything — a reputable practitioner uses a fresh, single-use kit (new blades and cups) for every client and follows clean, gloved technique. It's completely fair to ask how they handle this. Second, many people booking hijama want a same-gender practitioner — ask whether that can be arranged. Third, ask about aftercare and whether they observe particular days if that matters to you.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
