Julie is great! Aside from her space being a welcoming, calming, place, I greatly appreciate that she spends the beginning of each session talking with you. And getting to know you as a whole person. Her office communication is seamless and I appreciate the ability to book online.
Julie is an incredibly skilled acupuncturist, listener, and healer. In our home, we refer to her as “magic” because she changed our lives in such a profound way. I had been struggling with fertility for almost four years when I found Julie.
OH my goshhhh. Julie was so amazing, the woven space is very calming and comfortable. I was struggling with the after effects of Covid and she helped me get back to better than baseline. Excited to continue this healing journey with her. 10/10 would recommend
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
