From the reviews
Jill is fantastic. The cupping and scraping techniques she used were simply amazing. I've been struggling with stiff and painful legs for years, and after the session, I felt like a weight had been lifted off them for the first time in ages.
I have been looking for a massage therapist and struck gold when I found Wood’s Therapeutic Massage. I love everything about my experiences there! Her room is climate comfortable and quiet, clean and sanitary. Jill is highly skilled and professional, soothing and kind.
She is absolutely amazing! Helped me with my neck/shoulder pain within two visits. I would recommend her to anyone in pain or just needing a little relaxation. She is professional and talks you through the process. I’m beyond thankful for the relief she helped me achieve!
Jill is amazing! She’s a highly skilled, super professional and wildly knowledgeable magician with her hands. I decided some regular self care was a priority; my mind and body couldn’t be happier with my choice!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
