From the reviews

I booked a one hour session for my husband with Jeanette Jordan. He has severe muscle imbalances from years of mountain biking that causes him pain. After one session, he told me he received more benefit from myofascial release therapy than he ever has from any other form of massage therapy, chiropractic adjustment,…

★★★★★ — Amanda, Nov 2019

I've been having daily headaches from an overused muscle group in my back. I've tried OTC medication, regular massage, and chiropractic care with no relief. Daphne worked on me for ONE session and my headaches have yet to return.

★★★★★ — Natasha, Jul 2023

I have been receiving bodywork for many years. What Jeanette does is like nothing I’ve experienced before. She is incredible, knowledgeable, attuned and gentle. I always leave her office feeling amazing and changed. I really hope you book with her, you won’t regret it!

★★★★★ — Amanita, Aug 2020

Jeanette has a very patient curiosity for healing her clients. I've been to her many times. She works very well with her hands, which comes with years of experience. I always feel lighter, with a grand sense of release in my body when I leave her table!

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
