From the reviews
I’m in the hospitality business and over the years customer service has been lacking if not lost and it seems to be the new normal. I have to say I’m not the biggest reviewer, but after my last few experiences at Wild Lavender I really wanted to pay it forward.
I've been seeing Carrie for several years, but most recently during chemotherapy treatments. I was developing neuropathy as a side-effect from one of the drugs. Carrie listened to my many symptoms and knew exactly what areas needed attention ~ there were other bodily function issues too.
Acupuncture is amazing and life changing! Carrie is uniquely gifted in her profession. She genuinely cares about her patients' well being, and her care, treatment plans are intuitive in nature. I've been in treatment for about five months, and I feel more emotionally and physically balanced than I have in years.
I have been going to Wild Lavender for several years and I have been amazed at how effective acupuncture has been to resolve intestinal, knee, sinus issues and back pain. Carrie has also used Chinese Herb’s to help me maintain my health.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
