Tracey is the 3rd acupuncturist I have seen in my life, and I've been very lucky that they've all been great, but Tracey is the best fit for ME. I was hesitant to try acupuncture because I'm not a fan of needles. But Whitney is so sweet and caring! She takes the time to explain everything and made me very comfortable very quickly. Highly recommend for acupuncture and cupping!
OMG one of my best massages ever. Im pregnant and she actually has the proper pillow to help make mommy comfortable. Haven't felt so good after a massage in a long time. Very sweet and professional. She shares an office w/ my acupuncturist who recommended her. So great!
Tracey Whitney is awesome! She knows what she's doing. I haven't had pain in my knees or shoulder since I've been going to her. I have arthritis in my knees and 2 torn ligaments in my shoulder. When I first went to her, I was in so much pain. I was relieved from the pain with her acupuncture within weeks!
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
