From the reviews
If I could give Dr.Yu 10 stars I would. I tore my ACL, and medial and lateral meniscus in a football injury. Ortho recommended surgery with no other alternatives. Came into Dr.
I've been dealing with constant back pain since I had surgery and chemo intensified the pain. Medications haven't lessen the pain and after my oncologist just recommended morphine I have serious reservations about the big business of cancer. On a positive note, after my first treatment with Dr.
Dr Yu is hands down one of the most skilled and caring doctors I have ever known. I came to him with a 3 year Herniated Disc injury with shooting pain down my leg and the best neurosurgeon / orthopedic spine doctors I. John’s Hopkins & UPMC unable to find a diagnosis and improve my conditions.
Before Dr. Yu's treatment, my daughter had several weeks of physical therapy to treat her back pain from volleyball and the progress was slow. So through friend's word of mouth, we decided to explore acupuncture by Dr. Yu. During the treatment, Dr.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
