From the reviews

Riley is my PT and he’s fantastic. He made me feel comfortable and explained everything clearly. I had amazing results after only ONE visit. I was honestly amazed. My husband noticed the relief I felt after only my first visit. That says a lot as I’ve had chronic pain for 15 years. Lantz is the best massage therapist.

The entire staff is wonderful! My baby needed therapy and since Wheat PT has a pediatric PT we went to see them. They were amazing with him and made the whole experience a game and lots of fun! We love the staff from the front office to the techs in the back!

Wonderful caring people who truly care about others! 5 stars isn’t nearly enough

★★★★★ — Paula, Nov 2022

Lori Wheat and Damion Spillman provided me with exceptional patient care after my cancer diagnosis and surgery. They each were patient and spent time thoroughly explaining physical therapy options available to me during my recovery. Lori and Damion were personally invested in my recovery.

What to expect from your first cupping session

New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.

Cupping isn't for everyone — if you're on blood thinners, pregnant, or have a skin condition or bleeding disorder, check with your doctor first, and always tell your practitioner about health concerns before a session. This page is directory information, not medical advice.
