AMAZING MASSAGES! I have been with Shannon for over a year now and recently had Ian massage me. Both are really good! I love that they incorporate different techniques like infrared heat, cupping, therapeutic essential oils. I always walk out feeling a million times better than when i walked in.
She is incredibly knowledgeable. I have had two neck fusions, and I have never been able to get a massage that does not flare up my back. She knows exactly what to do and what techniques to use and every time I notice improvement. I highly recommend her.
Shannon has been an absolute life saver! I am a bodybuilder athlete and lift and pose a lot on a weekly basis, so my back and shoulders tend to take a lot of stress and overwork. I often come to her with tight shoulders, headache, locked up shoulder blades and trap muscles, and she always fixes me.
If I could give Shannon more than a 5 star rating I would! I started seeing Shannon about 2 years ago because I needed a massage therapist who would be able to reduce my pain levels for chronic sciatica.
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
