Found Wellness in Harmony via a google search as I needed a place in the area to help ease some of the tension and tightness i was feeling in my back. I scheduled a massage + cupping, and left feeling so relaxed. Lana was amazing!
I highly suggest Wellness in Harmony - this was such a great experience! Sergii and Lana were exceptionally professional and left my partner and I completely relaxed. We had the couples massage with hot stones that was perfect after a string of icy days and soreness.
My go to for massage! Both Sergii and Michael are wonderful in their skills and unique from each other in their technique I find beneficial depending on what my body needs. Both are able to relieve tight muscles like no one else I've been too, not to mention they accommodate my perfume/ essential oil sensitivities.
I wanted to surprise my sister's with a massage for mothers day. I found Wellness in Harmony on Air Bnb. They were very responsive to my needs. Both sisters were pleased with their service. I will try them again the next time im in Chicago
What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
