I was referred to the WellCare Center by a friend who actually has a physical therapy center in Davie but not close to where I live. So I called the center and Michael the director answered the phone after 6:00 p.m.
I'm amazed at the amazing work Mike and his team do. The team works very hands on with you at all times and are intuitive to your progress and well-being. Particularly for me, the recovery time was so incredibly quick.
Michael and his team are amazing! They are extremely knowledgeable, empathetic and positive. I was pushed to succeed at every visit. They gave me the confidence to do the necessary exercises to get walking again after my trimalleolar ankle fracture. I trusted them every step of the way.

What to expect from your first cupping session
New to cupping? Here's the short version. What happens: the practitioner places cups on the skin — most often the back, shoulders, or legs — and creates suction (with a pump, or briefly with a flame for fire cupping). Cups either stay put for a few minutes (dry cupping) or are glided over oiled skin (massage cupping). A session is usually 15–45 minutes, often added to a massage or acupuncture visit. The marks: cupping leaves round, bruise-like circles that are normal and usually fade in a few days to a couple of weeks — they're discoloration from the suction, not an injury, and shouldn't really hurt. What to wear: comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated. Afterward: drink water, keep the area warm, and skip intense sun or a hot sauna right after.
